NC COMPACT SPANNER FKS – FOR FLEXIBLE APPLICATION OPTIONS

A FORMAT hero with many strengths: Our NC compact spanner combines a sturdy and compact design with very high clamping and repeat accuracy. It also ensures the best possible access to the workpiece and thereby creates the best prerequisites for use on machining centres and milling machines.

The FORMAT compact spanner provides sufficient force for most drilling and milling applications. This is achieved by its mechanical clamping system with torque multiplier and a tension force (drive spindle with clamping force pre-setting) of up to 60 kN.

The sturdy steel base body and all guides are hardened and ground on all sides. The clamping slides with cross grooves are hardened on all sides and the functional surfaces are ground. The small dimensions, internal spindle and the sturdy chip protection mean that the FORMAT compact spanner is particularly suitable for use on machining centres and everywhere where space is limited.

Flexible use is achieved by clamping jaws, which can extend the clamping range by up to 131 mm by simply turning the jaws (8 screws) as required. There are grease nipples mounted on both sides so that you can lubricate all wear-prone guides and the spindle thread at anytime.
