Assemble, grip, screw: The FORMAT pliers wrench
No tool box should be without the FORMAT pliers wrench with 19-fold fine adjustment. It is used for gripping, screwing, pressing and bending and can thus replace both gripping pliers and ratchet. This combination solution not only saves the weight of your tool bag but also your wallet.
The FORMAT pliers wrench is the multifunctional tool for use in assembly, building services, the automotive sector, hydraulics or pneumatics.
Screw function
Open the handle, put it on, press the button, close it. You already have a firm grip on the nut or bolt. Thanks to the push-button quick adjustment, the pliers can be quickly and easily adapted to nuts, screws or pipe fittings up to 45 mm in diameter.
Ratchet function
Once the wrench grips the nut, it can be opened like a pair of pliers thanks to the stroke between the two gripping surfaces. Using the ratchet principle, you can translate the FORMAT pliers spanner backwards over the corners, continue screwing and tighten or loosen the nut.
Handy measuring scale
Use the lasered measuring scale to preset certain spanner widths. Adjustment can be done with just one hand.
Protect surfaces
In contrast to a spanner, which rests on the edges of a fitting, the pliers spanner rests securely and without play on the surfaces. The smooth, parallel jaws are gentle on even sensitive and finished surfaces.
Robust and durable
The alloy of oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel makes for a robust tool that is optimally protected against abrasion and corrosion. The head of the FORMAT pliers spanner is atramentised and tempered, i.e. fundamentally protected against rust and hardened to meet maximum demands.
