The right cable-stripping knife for everyone!
Removing and stripping insulation has to be quick. The inside wires are not allowed to be damaged. We have four heroes from FORMAT here for you, to make work easier.
The classic one with a fixed hook blade: The replaceable inside blade is protected under the guide bar. The knurled screw on handle end can be used for progressive adjustment of the cutting depth. The internal blade automatically adjusts from round to rip cuts, ensuring that coat stripping is particularly easy to do. For all standard round cables with Ø 4 – 28 mm.
The modern one - more safety, more comfort: The high grip enclosure and wide, slide-out guide bar made from plastic ensure a good feel and convenient operation. Just like the classic one, the inside blade on these two models can be progressively adjusted using a knurled screw and automatically change from round to rip cuts. The safety cable-stripping knife provides for a much lower injury risk with its hook blade that can be lowered and secured. And with the safety cable-stripping knife Multi, you can directly strip the insulation from individual wires with a diameter of 0.5 – 6 mm². The trimmed insulation is automatically collected in the enclosure. These two heroes from FORMAT also strip all standard round cables with Ø 4 – 28 mm.
The multi-talent: This FORMAT hero will assist you when you need to work on round cables and coaxial cables. With the multiple use cable stripping tool, you can not only remove cable coats (Ø 4 – 13 mm) and insulation on the individual wires (0.5 – 16 mm²), but you can also progressively remove insulation on coaxial cables (Ø 4 – 8 mm). The best thing is: You don't need to make any manual adjustments.
The enclosure for all cable-stripping knives is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic and can live with a heavy hand.
